From memorable competition weekends, to rewarding lessons, to club socials, the western equestrian club has given me a lasting group of friends and experiences I will never forget.

Grace Marcus

Vice President

Major: Animal Science and Management

About: Hey guys, my name is Grace and I’m once again your VP! I’m a fourth year Animal Science and Management student on the pre-vet track, and have been on the team since I first started here at Davis. This will be my third year as an officer, and I’m honored to be a part of this team and the community we’ve built! It’s hard to believe it will be my last year representing the team in open horsemanship, ranch, and reining after never having run pattern in western tack before UCD. On the off chance I’m not studying, you can find me working for the UCD Vet Hospital as a large animal technician, training foals, and restarting/marketing project horses. And of course, spending time with my rehabbing heart horse, a Saddlebred/Arab named Safari. While eventing may always have my heart, this team, coach, and horses have gotten me hooked and ensured that I’ll never be able to stay out of my chaps for long. Let’s go out with a bang! 💙💛

About: Hi, I'm Lily, this year's Social Chair! I'm a second-year double major in Art Studio and Design. I've shown in Performance and Ranch shows under various horse associations for years with my horse, Fancy. Riding has taught me many life skills that I'm very grateful to have. I joined the club in the fall of my first year, and already it has helped me grow tremendously as a rider. The community fostered in the club is incredibly supportive and I'm so proud to call them my teammates!

Camilla Lindh

Treasurer

 Year: Class of 2026

Hometown: Clayton, CA

Major: Biomedical Engineering

About: My name is Camilla and I’m this year’s Western Equestrian Club Treasurer! I’m a third year majoring in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Computer science. I’ve been riding Western since I was 11 and always love trying out new Western disciplines (and English too)! Joining the team last year was exciting for me since it allowed me to show for the first time through IHSA, so I highly recommend showing to anyone that’s interested! This summer I worked at a summer camp in San Jose, took some classes, worked on planning some Biomedical Engineering projects, and went to Japan with my family, so I haven’t been able to ride very much. But, I’m super excited to get back in the saddle and continue showing this fall!
