Hi, I'm Kate, this year's club president! I grew up riding and joined our club during my freshman year to help me improve my skills and meet new people. Learning to show in horsemanship and ranch with the support of our coach and the team has really helped me grow as a rider. I've found a great community at Davis through the club, and I can't wait to share it with our new members. Looking forward to a great year with you all! :)

Hi, I’m Zach, this year’s Vice President! I grew up around horses and have been riding since I was 4! I had never done shows until 2024, which was my first year as a part of the club! I look forward to my lessons every week as a break from school and the chaos of college. I’m excited to welcome new people and continue to grow our western family!

Hi, I'm Lily, this year's Social Chair! I've shown in Performance and Ranch shows under various horse associations for years with my horse, Fancy. Riding has taught me many life skills that I'm very grateful to have. I joined the club in my first year, and it has helped me grow tremendously as a rider and person. The community fostered in the club is incredibly supportive, encouraging, and understanding, and I've made some wonderful friends.

Hi! I’m Cesi and I am this year’s Secretary! I have been riding horses my whole life, but was introduced to showing through our club and haven’t stopped since! I joined the club in 2023 as a transfer student and have found great friends and community. Getting the opportunity to learn more and continue riding has been so much fun! We have the cutest horses, the best coach, and the friendliest members every year. I have met the most amazing people and everyone has been so nice and willing to help me learn and grow which is what I will give back to the club. I plan to continue riding horses, and exploring new opportunities in the horse world! I’m excited to be here this year and look forward to all the adventures we will have!

Hi everyone! :) I’ve been in the club since my freshman year and I’ve made so many amazing memories through it. Not only did being in Western Club teach me how to be a better rider and how to compete in horsemanship, but it also gave me lifelong friends and something to look forward to every week! Two favorite memories of mine would probably be trying to hilariously pack everyone and everything into whatever vehicle we end up using to commute to shows, and the time we were at 2024 semifinals in the middle-of-nowhere Illinois and tornado sirens started going off 🤩 I highly recommend joining even for a quarter, just to try it out! I promise you that you won’t regret it :)
